Choose your preliminary agreement carefully before signing for a house on the french riviera.
Once you have taken all the precautions and have definitely made up your mind, the time has come to pay the first sum of money (never pay anything before this stage!) and to sign a preliminary agreement. This can take a number of forms. The extent to which you are committed will vary from case to case. You must therefore be careful to read all the documents carefully.
