The American real estate market in free fall

Housing prices are down and the number of foreclosures is cause for alarm: +79% in 2007! The cities of Miami and Las Vegas are the most severely impacted followed by Detroit, Minneapolis, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Tampa, Washington, etc. Only Charlotte in North Carolina seems to have been spared.

According to real estate specialists, it will take several months before the real estate market recovers a semblance of stability.
