Designation

Description

Studio

Only one room serves as a bedroom, living room, kitchen, etc.
The bathroom is separate

T1 or F1

A kitchen + a room used as a bedroom and living room + a bathroom

T1 or F1 bis

T1 or F1 but the kitchen opens out into the main room

Studio / T1 or T2 cabine

Accommodations that have a corner or separate area (approx. 3 m²) able to hold a bunk bed

T2 or F2

A kitchen + a bedroom + a living room + a bathroom

T3 or F3

A kitchen + 2 bedrooms + a living room + a bathroom

T4 or F4

A kitchen + 3 bedrooms + a living room + a bathroom
or
A kitchen + 4 bedrooms + a bathroom
or
A kitchen + 2 bedrooms + a living room + a dining room + a bathroom

T5 or F5

A kitchen + 4 bedrooms + a living room + a bathroom

T3/4

T4 in which a partition was eliminated in order to enlarge the living room and thus create a T3

Rez-de-chaussée

Main floor apartment overlooking a garden or park

Jardin (or terrasse) privatif

Apartment with garden or private terrace

Jardin (ou terrasse) à usage privatif

Apartment with garden or terrace exclusively reserved for apartment users. However, as a common area assigned for private enjoyment, main wall and foundation or leak tightness work is at all the condominium owners’ expense.
